Find a Ring Size That Feels Right
A well-fitting ring should sit securely without pinching and still pass over the knuckle with gentle resistance. For the best result, measure in millimeters and repeat the measurement before choosing a size.
Two simple methods are included below: measuring a ring that already fits, or measuring the intended finger directly.

Match the inside diameter or finger circumference to the corresponding regional size. All measurements are shown in millimeters.

How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home
01
Measure a Ring You Already Wear
Choose a plain, round ring that fits the intended finger well.
- Place the ring on a flat surface.
- Measure the inside diameter across the widest point, excluding the metal edges.
- Record the result in millimeters and compare it with the first column of the chart.
02
Measure the Finger Directly
Use a narrow strip of non-stretch paper or string, a fine-tip pen and a millimeter ruler.
- Wrap the strip around the base of the finger so it is comfortably snug.
- Mark the exact point where the ends overlap.
- Lay it flat, measure the marked length, and compare it with the circumference column.
Tips for a More Reliable Fit
- Check the knuckle: the ring must pass over the widest part of the finger while remaining secure at the base.
- Measure at a comfortable temperature: heat and cold can temporarily change finger size.
- Measure near the end of the day: fingers are often slightly larger after normal daily activity.
- Consider band width: wider rings usually feel tighter; sizing up by half a size may feel more comfortable.
- Repeat the measurement: compare at least two or three readings before ordering.
This guide is intended as a practical reference. Fit can vary slightly with finger shape, band width and measuring method.
